Job summary

World Vision is seeking an experienced Grant Acquisition Manager to lead end-to-end institutional fundraising, analyzing donor landscapes, and coordinating cross‑functional bid teams to craft compelling, donor‑compliant proposals aligned with our mission.

You will build and maintain relationships with major donors and partners, develop evidence‑based theories of change and budgets, and support award negotiations. Travel up to 30% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in grant acquisition, proposal development, or business development in international development.
• Proven track record of winning competitive grants from major institutional donors.
• Experience leading cross-functional proposal teams and multi-partner bids with budgets exceeding USD 5 million.
• Strong analytical skills for donor landscape mapping and Go/No-Go decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a data‑driven pipeline of funding opportunities with clear Go/No‑Go rationales.
• Lead proposal development from concept through submission with cross‑functional teams.
• Build strategic donor relationships and partner networks.
• Establish structured proposal workflows and agile processes for grant development.
• Support award negotiation and transition to implementation teams.
