General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems seeks a BD Manager III (Government Relations) to cultivate key partnerships with government entities and industry partners. The role supports GDOTS interests across local, state, and federal affairs, building cross-functional relationships and influencing policy outcomes.

The position requires advanced communication skills, strategic thinking, and ability to travel as needed to advance program objectives.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree and 5–7 years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong oral and written communication, and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Retain and expand existing company relationships for multiple divisions and markets, while soliciting new business.
• Develop long-term strategic plans for growth and market expansion.
• Identify and respond to business development opportunities, including partnerships and joint ventures.
• Prepare proposals, reports, or presentations to demonstrate value of new opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with government representatives to advance organizational priorities.
• Monitor legislation and provide strategic input to decision making.
