Job summary

The Building People, LLC is seeking a full-time Contract Specialist to support government contracting, including pre-award and post-award activities such as price/cost analysis, administration, and contract termination within the Public Building Services organization.

The successful candidate will procure a wide range of design and construction services and goods, perform market research for best pricing, and work under FAR guidance with client agencies.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or 24 semester hours in relevant fields or 4 years contracting experience.
• 40 Hours of Professional Acquisition Related Training.

Responsibilities

• Procure a wide range of design and construction services, supplies, and other services using various methods and contracting vehicles.
• Provide market research and pricing analysis to support acquisitions and ensure adherence to budgeting guidelines.
• All work is governed by the FAR and related regulations, policies and procedures.
