Job summary

The Building People, LLC is seeking a full-time Contract Specialist to support Government Contracts in the Public Building Services area. This role involves pre-award and post-award functions including price/cost analysis, administration, and contract termination.

Positions may report to Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Tampa, or Nashville; telework may be subject to customer requirements. Responsibilities include procurement of a broad range of services, market research, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree; or 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, or related fields; or four years of contracting experience.
40 Hours of Professional Acquisition Related Training.

Responsibilities

Procure a wide range of design and construction services, supplies, and other services using varied acquisition methods and contracting vehicles.
Provide Market Research and pricing analysis to support acquisitions and budgeting.
Ensure all work complies with FAR and agency policies.
