Job summary

The Building People, LLC, has a full-time Contract Specialist opening to support government contracting in a multi-location setting. Responsibilities include pre-award and post-award functions, price/cost analysis, and contract administration within the Public Building Services area.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 4 years' contracting experience, with strong communication and analytical skills to navigate complex procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 24 credit hours in business, accounting, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, or related fields.
• 4 years of contracting or similar experience.
• 40 hours of professional acquisition training.

Responsibilities

• Procure design and construction services using various acquisition methods and contracting vehicles.
• Provide guidance on market research, pricing analyses, and management reporting.
• Adhere to FAR and agency policies in pre- and post-award activities.
