Job summary

ISHE in Cambridge, MA, seeks a seasoned Procurement Consultant who advises commercial clients and public-sector vendors on navigating contracts across federal, state, and local agencies. You will use deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and bid processes to guide responses and compliance.

You will lead RFP/RFQ lifecycle activities, assess solicitations, and support capture teams with compliant cost and technical proposals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in federal/state/local procurement or bid capture.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, supply chain, or contract law; Masters a plus.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200).
• Certifications preferred: CPCM, CFCM, or NIGP-CPP/CPPB.
• Active Secret/Top Secret clearance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement strategy and market-entry guidance to clients.
• Manage RFP/RFQ lifecycle, including bid-shaping and compliance reviews.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with FAR, DFARS, and related acts.
• Advise on contract administration, sub-award structures, and closeouts.
• Identify prime and subcontracting opportunities and support agency engagement.
