Job summary

State of Colorado's Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT) seeks a Manager of Government Affairs in the Enterprise Standard, Policy and Governance group. You will lead Legislative Liaisons and Policy Advisors, directing policy analysis, and communications with the Legislature while guiding the Government Affairs team.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, with legislative/public policy exposure.
• Experience in a government affairs or comparable role.
• Knowledge of policy, rules, and statutory changes affecting IT governance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development of performance objectives for government affairs.
• Lead projects and initiatives to meet goals; track progress and provide updates.
• Participate in strategic planning aligning with state goals and relevant legislation.
• Assist in creating and maintaining SOPs, memorandums, and guidance for Government Affairs.
• Supervise staff with performance plans and evaluations.
