Lafayette Group is seeking a dynamic Senior Governance & Strategic Communications Advisor to support government coordination, governance, and strategic planning for cybersecurity products. The role focuses on developing strategy, defining goals, and creating yearly implementation plans to advance product priorities.

The Senior Advisor will guide governance bodies, manage stakeholder relationships, and help shape roadmaps, workflows, and release planning across a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in communications, public relations, marketing, business, cybersecurity, information systems, or related field.
• ≥10 years of professional experience in strategic communications, governance, or strategic planning.
• Experience developing governance materials, exec briefings, reports, SOPs, CONOPS, or related docs.
• Experience with federal agency communications, external affairs, or stakeholder engagement.

Aufgaben

• Develop strategy and governance processes with a Strategic Product Roadmap and fiscal year plans.
• Support governance bodies by coordinating meetings, tracking decisions, and action follow-up.
• Coordinate across government subdivisions, product owners, and communications teams.
• Maintain awareness of strategic plans and ensure alignment of Task Force activities.
• Review external-facing products for strategic alignment, messaging, and release timing.
• Identify dependencies and risks across product development to improve coordination.
• Maintain governance documentation, dashboards, and status updates.
• Update Production Dashboards in ServiceNow for current product lifecycle data.
• Develop leadership reports on strategic initiatives, coordination, risks, and decisions.
• Build relationships across divisions to enable effective coordination and decision-making.
• Provide clear written/verbal communications and deliver high-quality outputs with limited oversight.
• Connect related efforts and close information gaps to improve customer service and engagement.
