Lafayette Group seeks a Senior Governance & Strategic Communications Advisor to support governance, strategy, and external-facing cybersecurity product releases. You will shape strategy, define goals, and develop fiscal year implementation plans while coordinating across government subdivisions and product teams.

The role requires extensive experience in strategic communications, governance materials, executive briefings, and cross-functional leadership. Hybrid work in Arlington, VA is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Ten or more years of professional experience in strategic communications, governance, or strategic planning.
• Experience developing governance materials, reports, SOPs, CONOPS, or related documents.
• Experience supporting federal agency communications, external affairs, or stakeholder engagement operations.
• Experience writing materials for senior audiences.
• Strong project management with cross-functional coordination and risk escalation.
• Strong written and verbal communications, and ability to operate under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Develop strategy, governance processes, and fiscal year implementation plans.
• Coordinate with Task Force governance bodies; document decisions and actions.
• Plan and execute cross-government coordination, external affairs, and product release activities.
• Maintain awareness of plans, priorities, and product guidance to ensure alignment.
• Review external-facing products for strategic alignment and messaging opportunities.
• Identify dependencies, risks, gaps, and opportunities across product development.
• Maintain governance documentation, dashboards, and status updates.
• Develop leadership reports and updates on initiatives and roadmaps.
• Build relationships across subdivisions to enable coordination and decision-making.
• Provide clear written and verbal communications and deliverables with minimal oversight.
