Job summary

CATHEXIS is seeking a Contracts Director to join the Senior Leadership Team and own all U.S. Government contract and procurement activities. You will advise the CEO and lead recompetes, new contract vehicles, and JV/teaming initiatives essential to growth.

This foundational leadership role requires overseeing contracts through the full life cycle, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and agency supplements, and guiding proposals, negotiations, and policy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required.
• 10+ years of contracts management experience in U.S. federal government contracting (prime and subcontracting) preferred.
• Strong background in FAR/DFARS and agency-specific supplements.
• Experience with cost-type contracts (CPFF, T&M) and audits.
• Experience structuring teaming agreements and joint ventures.
• Clearance eligible.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the Senior Leadership Team and oversee all U.S. Government contract and procurement activities.
• Lead joint venture and teaming partner development; structure, negotiate, and administer agreements.
• Review and manage contracts through full life cycle; proposals, negotiations, subcontracting, modification, close-out.
• Provide guidance on FAR, DFARS, and agency supplements; assess risk and provide mitigation strategies.
• Oversee contract administration and compliance; liaise with DCAA/DCMA as needed.
• Own the Contracts function; improve processes, CostPoint maintenance, policies.
