Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent to oversee all turf and course maintenance operations at Barton Creek Country Club. This on-site role requires strong agronomic expertise, leadership, and the ability to operate independently to deliver guest‑facing quality.

Responsibilities include overseeing grow-in, irrigation, fertilization, and coordination with the Director of Golf, while managing budgets, safety, and payroll accuracy for GCM associates.

Qualifications

• Degree in golf course management or related agronomy.
• State pesticide application certification within 2 months of employment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all turf and course maintenance operations, including grow-in, irrigation, fertilizer, and bunker prep.
• Inspect turf health, irrigation performance, pest management, and address issues promptly.
• Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team with safe equipment operation.
• Manage procurement and use of course equipment and supplies, ensuring compliance with policies.
