Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Greenskeeper at Barton Creek Lakeside Golf Course in Spicewood, TX. This full-time role maintains turf, landscapes, and course amenities to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will operate mowing equipment, assist with irrigation, manage plantings, and support safety standards while collaborating with teammates across departments in a hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company MVR requirements.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend/stoop, arm/hand movement up to 30 minutes per hour worked.
• Must also be proficient at: turf/plant fertilization, chainsaw use, woody plant installation, construction, hard-scapes, and skid-steeruse.

Responsibilities

• Use mowing equipment and tools to maintain golf course grounds and landscaping.
• Clean and maintain equipment; operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Mow greens/tees/fairways/rough; rake bunkers; weed-eat and edge.
• Set cups and move tee markers.
• Water greens and tees; assist irrigation repairs.
• Perform custodial tasks; clean and stock facilities; trash collection.
• Report problems to supervisor and respond to emergencies.
• Paint and maintain buildings; light carpentry as needed.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees; mulch beds; prepare beds for planting.
• Support other departments and attend monthly meetings.
