SpaceX, a leader in aerospace technology, seeks a Global Supply Manager for Contract Manufacturing within Starlink. You will drive supplier strategy, manage capex and budgets, and coordinate with engineering to ensure timely development schedules.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, supplier performance management, and detailed procurement execution to support rapid growth and multi-planetary ambitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in supply chain, production, or engineering OR 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Advanced degree with 4+ years in supply chain, production, or engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sourcing plans to identify new suppliers and optimize cost structures.
• Create sourcing strategies to reduce risk, improve on-time delivery, and maximize cost savings.
• Manage budgets, funding requests, and capex planning for projects.
• Oversee contract manufacturer's operations and ensure alignment with product development schedules.
• Issue POs and coordinate with MRP to ensure accurate information across SpaceX programs.
• Lead supplier scorecard development and report performance to leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to address rejected materials and drive improvements.
