The candidate will require strong procurement process knowledge, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize inventory and drive value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3+ years procurement in power generation, or 8+ years experience in procurement.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills are essential.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source materials and services for facility operations.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers for cost-effective procurement.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and address quality or delivery issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to ensure adequate inventory levels.
• Forecast demand to optimize inventory and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare and monitor budgets; report on purchasing activities and supplier performance.
