Job summary

Arlo Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Director to lead the global compliance function. You will build and manage the team, act as senior SME, and represent the company on regulatory matters from design through launch and post-market activities.

This hybrid role requires regular office visits and international travel, with locations in several CA offices. Strong background in consumer electronics regulatory processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years’ experience as a function head leading a team.
• Experience in consumer electronics or wireless products and certifications.
• Knowledge of BOMs, specs, ECR/ECO/MCO and interchangeability rules.
• Strong program management and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally several times yearly.
• Experience with carrier certifications (Verizon, AT&T, etc.) preferred.
• Mandarin speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Arlo’s global regulatory compliance strategy.
• Lead the Regulatory Compliance team and mentor staff.
• Serve as the SME on regulatory, radio, safety, and EMC matters.
• Champion regulatory compliance awareness across the organization and with ODMs.
• Oversee identification of regulatory standards across products with engineering and labs.
• Drive design-stage compliance via design reviews and risk analyses.
• Lead product homologation and international approvals.
• Develop and manage product test plans; oversee certification projects.
• Be primary contact with customers, labs, suppliers and certification bodies.
