Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in logistics procurement, distribution, 3PL, outbound transportation, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of global logistics operations and factors shaping supplier decisions.
• Engage stakeholders, clarify requirements, develop strategy, and lead execution in a matrixed org.
• Working knowledge of RFx, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contracting.
• Experience leading multi-million-dollar initiatives with cost, service, and risk trade-offs.
• Clear communication, executive presence, analytical mindset, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build stakeholder relationships and align on prioritization based on value and risk.
• Translate distribution, 3PL, and outbound needs into actionable procurement plans.
• Lead category execution from strategy to contract award with aligned decision criteria.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, challenge assumptions, and identify practical solutions.
• Lead multi-million-dollar RFx events and supplier negotiations for broader business outcomes.
• Conduct spend, market, supplier, and operational analysis to identify value opportunities.
• Develop executive-ready materials communicating strategy, risks, decisions and outcomes.
• Adopt and scale procurement practices and tools across global logistics.
