Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Logistics Manager in Richardson, TX to optimize inbound/outbound transportation, freight, and customs compliance for our manufacturing operations. You will lead global freight activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage 3PLs to reduce costs and improve on‑time delivery.

The role requires 6–8 years in global logistics, experience with high‑value electronics, and strong negotiation and KPI‑driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, or global trade compliance.
• Direct experience managing global logistics for high‑tech, electronics, or complex system manufacturing (EMS preferred). Familiarity with handling high‑value freight for data center infrastructure.
• Certifications such as CTL or CSCP are valued and beneficial.
• Expert knowledge of TMS, freight auditing tools, and ERP/MRP integration with logistics modules.
• Knowledge of U.S. and international customs regulations, classification, and export controls.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance.

Responsibilities

• Global Freight Management: oversee carrier selection, contract negotiation, shipment consolidation, and route optimization.
• Trade Compliance & Customs: ensure compliance with import/export regulations and manage broker relationships.
• 3PL and Carrier Performance: manage 3PLs and carriers, develop KPIs, conduct reviews, and drive improvements.
• Cost Analysis & Budgeting: own freight budget and perform cost‑to‑serve analyses for savings opportunities.
• Risk Management: identify and mitigate global supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
• Cross‑Functional Alignment: coordinate with Planning, Warehouse Ops, and CPM to align with production schedules.
• Systems Utilization: drive use of TMS and logistics software for tracking, invoicing audits, and reporting.
