Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a globally recognized leader in innovation to hire an experienced procurement professional. This Buyer will own supplier relationships, manage material portfolios, and oversee purchase orders to sustain production schedules.

The role demands hands-on experience in production materials procurement, ERP usage, and strong communication across Planning, Commodity Management, and Supply Chain leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Buyer or direct procurement professional with supplier ownership.
• Experience purchasing production materials or components (electronics preferred).
• ERP system experience for PO execution and planning.
• Excel skills with PivotTables and lookups.
• SQL querying and/or data visualization with Tableau or QuickSight.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials and equipment from suppliers (SBs, PCBAs, hardware).
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor KPIs for leadership.
• Provide procurement data for scorecards and quarterly reviews.
• Plan material requirements and maintain ERP-driven delivery schedules.
• Communicate forecasts and changes clearly to suppliers.
• Identify risks and lead cross-functional mitigation strategies.
• Support Global Commodity Management with supplier relations and performance.
