Leadenhall Search & Selection partners with a growing, globally focused investment firm seeking a General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer to lead its legal, regulatory, compliance and governance functions in New York. Reporting to the CEO, the role blends strategic legal advice with hands-on oversight of investment transactions, fund formation and fiduciary compliance to scale the platform.

Qualifications

Qualified US lawyer with extensive experience in investment management and regulatory compliance.
Experience leading legal and compliance in a funds-focused environment.
Strong track record with cross-border investments and governance.

Responsibilities

Lead legal support for private and public market investments and transactions.
Oversee fund formation, structuring and documentation.
Manage regulatory compliance framework including securities regulations and filings.
Advise on corporate governance, fiduciary duties and investor relations.
Develop scalable legal, compliance, risk and data governance programs.
Act as strategic adviser to CEO and senior leadership on risk and strategy.
Manage external counsel and coordinate跨 jurisdictions.
