Job summary

Welsh Women's Aid is recruiting a strategic fundraising lead to shape and deliver the fundraising strategy, campaigns, and donor stewardship across the organisation. The role requires blending home and Cardiff office work with travel across the UK as needed.

You will develop annual plans, manage donor communications, and collaborate with teams to maximise income for programmes and core costs. This leadership role demands strong planning, reporting and partnership building.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications are required; Fundraising Certificate or learning is advantageous.
• Experience in leading fundraising strategies and plans.
• Experience using a CRM to store and evaluate project and event data.
• Experience using social media for business engagement and supporter outreach.
• Experience overseeing stewardship activities and communications to supporters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the WWA fundraising strategy, policies and plans.
• Execute fundraising campaigns and identify funding opportunities.
• Create annual action plans with measurable objectives and targets.
• Review progress and report to Board and SMT.
• Attend Senior Manager Team and Board meetings and provide updates.
• Support member organisations with fundraising updates and training.
• Lead CRM data management and reporting for fundraising activities.
• Oversee events including Great London and Cardiff Half Marathons.
• Lead stewardship of supporters and fundraisers.
