Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Master's degree preferred; 9+ years in at least one language or stack (JS/Java/TS/Python/Go).
• 5+ years AWS experience; 4+ years in open source frameworks; 2+ years Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery on active engagements, write production code, and review architecture.
• Lead a small team of engineers (2–5), set direction, remove blockers.
• Decompose complex problems into practical implementations with milestones.
• Ensure quality across engagements: performance, testability, operability, security.
• Make pragmatic technology choices balancing ideals with delivery timelines.
• Onboard quickly to unfamiliar codebases and domains to stay productive.
