Job summary

LSB Chemical L.L.C. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate FP&A team and act as a strategic partner to executives. You will lead monthly forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, while translating data into actionable insights for the Board and Audit Committee.

The role collaborates with Operations, Commercial, Engineering, Procurement, and Accounting to evaluate performance and strategic initiatives. Strong modeling, ERP, and BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Accounting experience.
• MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• Manufacturing, chemical, or industrial experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI or BI tools preferred.
• ERP systems experience: JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial and operational performance; identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Create executive-level presentations and analyses for leadership and Board committees.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, Engineering, Procurement, and Accounting to evaluate performance.
• Develop financial models, scenario and sensitivity analyses for strategic decisions.
• Evaluate capital investments with financial modeling and ROI analysis.
• Support quarterly earnings prep and public reporting inputs (10-Q/10-K).
• Design KPIs, dashboards, and forecasting tools; improve reporting efficiency.
• Leverage ERP and BI systems to enhance insights and speed.
• Provide timely monthly financial reporting and variance analyses vs forecast and budget.
• Handle special projects and ad hoc analyses for executives.
