Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a highly talented Finance Manager to lead the Supply Chain Finance team at our Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. You will partner with Freight and Logistics Leadership to forecast, budget and analyze performance, and act as finance lead on cross-functional projects.

You will mentor Financial Analysts and interns, deliver timely financial commentary, and provide insights through KPI analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Procurement or Supply Chain Management is required.
5+ years of experience in general or corporate finance, strategic finance, supply chain/logistics data analytics, and ERP configuration.
Ability to advance to leadership roles.
Ability to work in a high-paced environment with deadlines.
Experience with ERP systems (OTM, JD Edwards, Hyperion a plus) and minimal travel.

Responsibilities

Lead all freight forecast/planning development and variance analytics for Mills and Packaging businesses.
Liaise with Packaging counterparts on forecast/planning assumptions and variance analytics.
Deliver daily/weekly/monthly financial analyses with commentary.
Prepare financial materials and lead financial presentations.
Track KPIs and provide insights to Supply Chain and Mill partners.
Validate and track CTO freight project savings.
Participate in freight/logistics diagnostics or project work.
Mentor Financial Analysts and interns.
