Job summary

LHH is seeking an FP&A Manager – Manufacturing to join a growing organization focused on operational excellence and scalable growth. This role partners with operations to drive performance using financial data and strong manufacturing finance, cost accounting, budgeting, and modeling skills.

The ideal candidate will build processes from the ground up, lead budgeting and forecasting, and collaborate across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required; MBA is a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, manufacturing finance, and financial reporting.
• Experience building financial processes, improving controls, and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance financial processes, reporting structures, and accounting practices for manufacturing operations.
• Establish cost standards, analyze COGS, and perform detailed labor, material, and overhead variance analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning initiatives.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to provide actionable insights to operational leadership.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, purchasing, and quality teams to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Perform ROI modeling and financial analysis related to equipment investments and capital expenditures.
• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and GAAP/internal controls compliance.
• Support inventory accuracy through controls, audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
