Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Director of FP&A to provide financial leadership, drive budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, performance analysis, KPI development, and strategic planning across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, commercially minded finance leader who connects financial performance to operational execution and business strategy, partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, HR, and other leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing Finance/Accounting teams.
• Manufacturing or industrial environment experience, preferably with manufacturing financial operations.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial controls.
• Experience using financial and operational data to identify trends and improve performance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Experience with SAP and Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Experience leading finance process improvements, automation, and ERP implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Analyze revenue, profitability, expenses, working capital, and KPI drivers.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, HR, and other leaders to set targets and monitor performance.
• Develop dashboards and meaningful financial KPIs for reporting.
• Evaluate capital investments and strategic initiatives with financial analysis.
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior leadership.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with insights.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, inventory, and balance sheet drivers.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and cash flow.
• Lead finance process improvements and ERP-related initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance to optimize ERP functionality.
