Job summary

Freenome is seeking a Manager, FP&A to elevate financial planning, reporting, and analysis for a high-growth organization focused on changing cancer diagnostics. You will partner with R&D, Commercial, and Operations leaders to translate complex data into actionable plans and drive strategic decision-making.

You will own the budgeting process, build rigorous forecast models, and deliver insightful analyses that inform resource allocation and performance improvements while supporting governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business.
• 8+ years in Finance/FP&A with 3+ in FP&A in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; life sciences/diagnostics preferred.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and build complex financial models.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a data-driven problem-solving approach.
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance professionals.
• Strategic thinking with attention to detail and strong KPIs focus.
• Advanced Excel; ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP); experience with BI tools, automation, or AI-driven analytics is a plus.
• MBA/CPA/CFA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate financial data into narratives for leaders and budget owners.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes aligned with strategic priorities.
• Deliver monthly/quarterly reporting and KPI tracking across the business.
• Develop and refine forecasting tools and automate reporting where possible.
• Collaborate across ERP, planning, and BI implementations; leverage AI where appropriate.
