Job summary

Pair Eyewear is seeking an FP&A Manager to partner with manufacturing and operations leaders. You will own COGS forecasting, BOM costing, and margin analysis to drive unit economics as we scale.

You'll build cost models, manage SKU-level visibility, and present insights to finance leadership, collaborating with Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, and Accounting in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive finance experience with focus on COGS and manufacturing finance.
• Consumer goods experience in startup or high-growth brand with DTC/ecommerce and wholesale.
• Experience with BOM-based costing and high-SKU inventory.
• Advanced Excel modeling; ERP experience (NetSuite a plus) and BI tools (Looker a plus).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own all COGS related forecasting and budgeting across channels including labor, capex, freight, duties, and inventories.
• Build and maintain SKU-level and BOM-level cost models; support cost rollups for new launches.
• Analyze gross margin and unit economics monthly; bridge actuals vs. forecast and explain variances.
• Partner with Operations on fulfillment and outbound freight cost analysis by channel and geography.
• Support inventory planning finance: commitments, cash impact, E&O reserves, and turns.
• Model tariff and supplier pricing scenarios and quantify landed cost impact.
• Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close for COGS accruals and margin reporting.
• Improve reporting infrastructure to deliver timely, trusted margin data.
• Present findings to leadership to align on strategic priorities.
