Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced FP&A leader in Indianapolis to oversee annual budgeting, long-range planning, and monthly forecasting. You will partner with department heads and executives to drive data-driven decisions and maintain robust financial models.

The role emphasizes KPI development, scenario analysis, and close collaboration with Accounting to ensure data integrity and timely reporting. A strong background in budgeting and advanced Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking experience, including budgeting/forecasting leadership.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with planning/reporting tools and BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and how drivers affect them.
• Excellent communication, able to explain complex financial information to non-finance audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and long-range planning, coordinating input from department heads.
• Own monthly and quarterly forecasting, updating projections based on actuals and trends.
• Prepare and present monthly variance analysis explaining drivers and corrective actions.
• Build and maintain financial models for revenue, expenses, headcount, cash flow and capex; run scenario analyses.
• Partner with business leaders as trusted advisor on financial performance.
• Develop and track KPIs; create dashboards and reports for execs and board.
• Evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives, pricing changes, and potential acquisitions with ROI analysis.
• Collaborate with Accounting for data integrity and month-end close alignment.
• Improve FP&A processes, tools, and speed of reporting.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of financial analysts.
