HealthPartners is seeking a Strategic Finance Senior Director to serve as a key partner to the CFO and executive leadership. This role oversees enterprise FP&A, consolidates financial plans, and leads system-wide strategic financial initiatives across the health plan and care group.

The role emphasizes integrating financial insight, improving reporting capabilities, and communicating performance to guide resource allocation and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years progressive finance and leadership experience, preferably in large healthcare systems or payer-provider organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise FP&A Function: oversee consolidated forecasting across health plan and care group.
• Establish FP&A calendar, governance, and processes.
• Standardize forecasting methodologies and assumptions.
• Align forecasting with accounting and operational finance.
• Present financial results to CFO and leadership; develop executive presentations.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Lead organization-wide strategic financial initiatives with scenario modeling.
• Oversee long-range financial planning and governance for future plans.
• Lead enterprise cash flow forecasting and capital planning processes.
• Drive FP&A transformation, automation, and expanded enterprise analytics.
