Job summary

Dealer Owned Warranty Company LLC in Parsippany seeks a Financial Modeling Specialist to design and maintain scalable financial models in Excel that support analytics and executive decisions. You’ll run scenario analysis, break-even and cash flow forecasts to inform go/no-go decisions for startups or early-stage ventures.

The role requires strong Excel skills, FP&A experience, and the ability to communicate complex outputs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, CS or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in financial data modeling within FP&A.
• Proven experience building scenario, break-even, and what-if models.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to build financial models in Excel.
• Experience with BI tools or programming languages preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executives.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data models to support analytics, reporting, and decisions.
• Build scenario, break-even, and cash flow models for launches and investments.
• Stress-test assumptions and identify critical thresholds and risks.
• Translate model outputs into clear, executive-ready insights.
