Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking a Vice President of Finance Planning & Analytics in Jersey City to lead management accounting, reporting, and strategic planning using Power BI, TM1, Power Query, and Excel. You will partner with FP&A, accounting, and business teams to deliver executive-ready analyses and annual budgets.

The role offers hybrid work, an anticipated salary range of $117,686–$121,000, plus eligible incentives and a competitive benefits portfolio.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience in finance analytics and reporting.
Experience with banking products, TM1, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

Perform management accounting and ensure data integrity in reporting.
Analyze results, trends, and KPIs to support planning and decision making.
Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analyses in Power BI, TM1, Power Query, and Excel.
Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses, forecasts, budgets, and variance reports for leadership.
Communicate insights through executive-ready reports and collaborate with FP&A and accounting teams.
Support cross-functional meetings to review financial performance and recommendations.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages.
Support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling for strategic initiatives.
