Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting/finance.
• Six+ years of progressive professional cost accounting experience in a corporate environment, preferably with a government contractor.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office – especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) experience highly desirable.
• Demonstrates strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills; ability to handle confidential information and guide accounting/finance decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, forecasts and executive reports/presentations for the strategic investments portfolio including Internal Research & Development, forecast inventory and capital investments.
• Perform variance analysis and support ad-hoc analytics to monitor financial performance against budget/forecast.
• Develop and improve planning processes; model financial scenarios and tools; identify issues and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with program managers and cost centers to track spending, margins and to-to-go spending.
• Support executive-level financial reports, charts and exhibits for leadership and funding proposals.
