Globe Life Liberty National Division- The Jackson Agencies in McKinney, TX seeks a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead annual and strategic planning, manage forecasts, and drive performance insights. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration Tue–Thu with remote Mon & Fri work.

The ideal candidate brings 10–15 years in finance, 5+ years leading FP&A, and strong expertise in Workday Adaptive, ERP systems, and GAAP. Excellent communication and leadership required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics; MBA preferred.
• 10–15 years in finance with 5+ years leading FP&A teams; insurance preferred.
• Experience with large ERP/financial systems; Workday Adaptive preferred.
• Strong Excel, data visualization, and SQL skills; GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and strategic planning; deliver high-quality forecasts and variance analysis.
• Oversee month/quarter/year-end reviews with executives and stakeholders.
• Drive system transformations, e.g., Anaplan to Workday Adaptive migration.
• Engineer scalable planning processes; automate planning cycles and reports.
• Implement next-gen planning tools; provide real-time business intelligence.
• Automate workflows; enable self-service analytics for partners.
• Monitor key drivers; deliver data-driven insights to executives.
• Lead FP&A team with coaching and development.
• Set priorities and expectations for deliverables and partnerships.
• Provide timely management reporting and executive presentations.
• Educate stakeholders on FP&A tools and capabilities.
• Build relationships and provide financial leadership across the business.
