Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Director, Financial Planning & Analysis to serve as a strategic finance leader for the North America business. You will provide financial insight, performance management, and decision support to help drive growth and accountability across regions.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and executive reporting, partnering with cross‑functional teams to ensure governance and alignment with Mastercard priorities, while championing AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Experience leading FP&A, forecasting, performance management, and decision support in a complex, matrixed, growth-oriented organization.
• Strong business partnership skills with the ability to translate financial insights into business strategy and influence senior stakeholders.
• Advanced capability in financial modeling, scenario planning, variance analysis, KPI management, and executive storytelling.
• Good ownership, judgment, collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills; comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, strategic planning, and target setting in support of NAM priorities.
• Own executive-level performance reporting, including QOR materials, variance commentary, KPI insights to drive revenue and profitability.
• Analyze performance trends with business and finance leaders to define and execute actions.
• Develop financial models and scenarios to support strategic initiatives and investments.
• Identify risks and opportunities and translate financial data into actionable senior leadership insights.
• Drive ad-hoc analyses and executive presentations to enable decision-making and execution of priorities.
• Partner with business development, regional teams, controllership, and global FP&A to strengthen outcomes.
• Maintain strong governance, SOX awareness, reporting integrity, and risk management.
• Champion AI adoption by embedding AI-enabled productivity into FP&A workflows.
