Job summary

Valeris, a leading life sciences commercialization partner, seeks a Vice President of FP&A and Business Performance to own the forecast cycle, budget, monthly P&L reviews, and executive reporting across the enterprise.

You will lead the FP&A team, partner with department and business-unit leaders, drive KPI dashboards, model strategic investments, and push automation and AI-enabled forecasting. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is based in Morrisville, NC with limited travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years FP&A or corporate finance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Advanced financial modeling and executive-level reporting skills.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and EPM/planning tools (Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion).

Responsibilities

• Own the annual budget process and rolling monthly and full-year forecast.
• Lead monthly business review meetings and monthly close cadence.
• Lead variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior period; drive corrective actions.
• Institutionalize variance explanations and actions for SG&A variances above threshold.
• Build executive and Board reporting packages clearly stating performance, risks, opportunities, actions.
• Partner with department and business-unit leaders to institutionalize P&L ownership.
• Develop and maintain enterprise KPI reporting and dashboards.
• Drive forecast accuracy and strengthen link between drivers and outcomes.
• Partner with Accounting on close calendar and with Strategic Finance on capital planning.
• Support business cases and financial modeling for investments and initiatives.
• Apply automation and AI-enabled approaches to forecasting and reporting.
