Job summary

Extant Aerospace is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join a fast-paced, on-site team in Melbourne, FL. This role focuses on forecasting, budgeting, and variance explanations to guide strategic decisions and improve financial performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, support quarterly presentations, and help optimize inventory and cost accounting metrics. A strong analytical mindset and data-driven approach are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business (finance/accounting preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of direct industry experience.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes; manage budgets and forecasts.
• Report variances to outlook/plan/prior year with clear explanations.
• Support quarterly presentations and partner with Accounting on inventory and cost accounting metrics.
• Model scenarios for the business (break-even, cost reduction targets) and evaluate capital expenditures; track P&L impact of pricing actions and process improvements.
