Socket.dev in the United States is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. You will leverage advanced Excel and financial modeling to translate data into actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
3–5 years FP&A or financial analysis experience.
Advanced Excel skills with formulas, modeling and data automation.
Strong financial modeling capabilities (3-statement models, KPI frameworks).
Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to leadership.
Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting and scenario analysis.
Lead KPI development, tracking, and reporting for performance management.
Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, variance analyses, and dashboards.
Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, including data consolidation.
Partner with the Controller on close insights, trend analysis, and reporting improvements.
Assist in long-range planning, capital planning, and cash flow modeling.
Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and cost optimization.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data for reporting and modeling.
