Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Indianapolis is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide strategic analysis to senior management, support forecasting and budgeting, and build financial models.

You will deliver regular reports and dashboards, analyze variances, and partner with business units to drive planning and process improvements. A bachelor's in Finance/Accounting/Economics and 1–3 years FP&A experience are preferred; advanced Excel, Power BI, and Tableau skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years minimum work experience in an FP&A type role.
• Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and trend identification.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, and provide recommendations for adjustments.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, financial trends, and variances.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data from various sources to ensure accuracy and relevance in reporting and decision-making.
• Collaborate with business units to understand financial needs and provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and business planning.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis efficiency.
• Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses as required to support business objectives and strategic initiatives.
