Job summary

Palms Casino is seeking an Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis to deliver accurate analytics, reports, and insights to management and executives. You will support daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least three years of financial experience, Nevada Gaming License, and strong Excel skills. You will work closely with leaders to drive data-driven decisions and improve forecasting models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of financial experience preferred.
• Must obtain a Nevada Gaming License.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint; mastery of Excel.
• Experience with financial planning, analytics, or project management.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate recommendations based on data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analyses and standard reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
• Prepare reports to monitor market trends including key competitors.
• Maintain and improve data sourcing procedures and data repositories.
• Prepare ad hoc and non-recurring reports, graphs, and metrics.
• Analyze financial results and monitor divisional spending against budget and annual plan.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and productivity/labor analysis.
• Collaborate with leaders to standardize monthly reviews and forecasting processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
