Sonoco Products Company, a global leader in packaging, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support annual planning, forecasting, financial reporting, and various analyses. You will report to the Director Commercial FP&A and contribute to long-range planning, special projects, and process improvements.

This role can be located in Hartsville, SC or Charlotte, NC and requires a four-year degree in accounting, finance or business, with CPA/CMA preferred.

Competenze

• Four Year Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent.
• Preferred certifications: CPA, CMA.
• Experience with Sonoco's business and/or manufacturing settings.
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Planning, and Onestream.
• Strong technical aptitude across multiple disciplines and technologies.

Mansioni

• Act as a key contributor to the annual budgeting and forecasting processes with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct financial analyses and pro forma and ROI analyses for expansions, acquisitions, divestitures and valuations.
• Support division-level close processes and internal controls.
• Assist with Internal Audit and SOX requirements.
• Develop reporting and forecasting templates to improve analytics.
• Undertake statistical analysis and industry research.
• Review capital projects for accuracy against corporate/division policies.
• Assist training of manufacturing and sales personnel in Sonoco accounting systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
