Job summary

Sonoco Products Company is seeking a Financial Analyst to own budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. You will work cross-functionally with sales, manufacturing and corporate finance to build pro formas, perform ROI analyses and support strategic planning.

The role supports the division's close process and SOX controls, develops reporting templates, and assists with capital project analysis. Prior experience in manufacturing is a plus and location options include Hartsville, SC or

Qualifications

• Four Year Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Planning, and Onestream.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to grasp multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct financial analyses and pro formas for expansions, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Support financial close and SOX compliance activities.
• Improve reporting, forecasting and analytics processes.
• Train and mentor manufacturing and sales personnel in Sonoco finance systems.
