Job summary

DiscGenics, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking an Analyst for Financial Planning and Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis in partnership with the CFO and department heads.

This onsite role requires strong US GAAP understanding, ERP experience with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite, and the ability to present insights to Executives. Relocation is not available; work is performed at headquarters in Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or equivalent experience.
• General understanding of US GAAP reporting rules and guidelines.
• Completion of at least one annual budgeting cycle for a multi-departmental organization.
• Familiarity with ERP reporting software (experience with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, preferred).
• Ability to interpret and use data to make recommendations.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to streamline processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of an organization (including up to Executives).
• High integrity and ability to maintain highly confidential information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting efforts including gathering information and consolidating for annual budget.
• Partner with Financial Accountant to process roll-forwards and interpret results.
• Forecast with Department Heads and suggest spending adjustments to meet business objectives.
• Handle procurement/purchasing activities to align with budget and proper G/L usage.
• Maintain G/L structure and support executives and shareholders with administrative tasks.
