Job summary

Ohio State University seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis Advisor to lead and support complex FP&A for ERIK earnings operations. You will partner with unit leaders and ERIK IT to review billing systems, develop multi-year forecasts, and present analyses to senior leadership.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 6+ years of experience in earnings operations, and strong Excel and communication skills. This is a hybrid on-campus position with pay range $76,500–$99,300.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field.
• Six years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with earnings operations.
• Strong analytical, computer, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees earnings operation cost center funds and analyses.
• Prepares, analyzes, and presents detailed financial reports and multi-year forecasts.
• Presents complex financial information to ERIK unit and senior leadership.
• Prepares budgets in enterprise financial management systems (e.g., Workday Adaptive).
• Resolves financial problems and coordinates with the Director on resolution.
• Develops resource reports and presentations for units.
• Supports sponsored programs compliance and governance reviews.
• Partners with ERIK Financial Operations to improve efficiency.
