Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Advisor to lead complex financial planning, analysis, and fiscal reporting for ERIK earnings operations. You will partner with unit leaders and ERIK IT to support billing systems and processes, and present multi-year forecasts to senior leadership.

The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days on campus, with a focus on funding strategies and alignment with university priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or related field is required.
Six years of relevant work experience in earnings operations.
Strong analytical, computer, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Effective time management to handle multiple deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advisory reporting.
Ability to work independently in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

Oversees earnings operation funds, budgets, and cost analyses.
Prepares and presents detailed financial reports and multi-year forecasts.
Delivers complex financial information to ERIK leadership and units.
Manages budget entries in enterprise systems (e.g., Workday Adaptive).
Resolves financial issues and coordinates with the Director on resolution.
Develops resource reports and presentations for units.
Collaborates with grants compliance and ERIK finance to evaluate sponsored operations.
Proposes strategies to improve efficiency and align expenditures with budgets.
Leads financial special projects.
