Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a Foundry Advanced Packaging Sourcing Manager in Austin, TX. You will coordinate procurement for strategic foundry suppliers focusing on post-fab and advanced packaging, driving cost targets and supplier performance through analytical strategies and a comprehensive sourcing program.

Ideal candidates will have extensive semiconductor experience, strong negotiation skills, and a track record in SCM.

Qualifications

Extensive foundry or semiconductor experience, especially post fab and advanced packaging.
Strong engineering background is a plus.
Strong negotiation and sourcing skills.
Familiarity with Supply Chain Management (SCM).
Experience in engineering or semiconductor companies.
Understanding of regional and global markets and cultures.

Responsibilities

Coordinate management and spend of AMD’s strategic foundry suppliers with focus on post fab/advanced packaging services.
Develop global procurement strategy for foundry post fab and advanced packaging; implement supplier development programs.
Build and maintain supplier relationships.
Provide analytical support and recommendations on sourcing strategies, requirements planning, and cost improvement.
Own the bidding process including analysis, price negotiation, and driving awards.
Lead Supplier Performance Management and quarterly scorecards.
Communicate foundry post fab/advanced packaging commodity strategy to AMD Senior Management.
