Job summary

Tuvli, an Akima company, is hiring for a Subject Matter Analyst to support our DoS client located in Washington, DC. This role focuses on coordinating with government and international partners to advance foreign assistance priorities and policy objectives.

You will chair or back up functional area working groups, draft Congressional Notifications, manage events, and serve as a subject matter expert across democracy, governance, energy, cybersecurity, and monitoring and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3-5 years’ experience in international subject matter coordination may be needed.
• Understanding of U.S. foreign policy goals related to foreign assistance in the region.
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills across security, governance, and economic areas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders on ACE’s role and funding priorities and track foreign assistance.
• Liaise with internal/external stakeholders on foreign assistance priorities, planning, and negotiations.
• Chair or back-up for working groups and annual budget reviews in functional areas.
• Draft Congressional Notifications and official papers on U.S. foreign assistance priorities.
• Attend and manage events such as briefings and conferences for domestic/international audiences.
• Produce research and official responses as directed by ACE leadership.
• Represent ACE as subject matter expert in security, energy, governance, and anti-corruption areas.
