Job summary

Sysco Kansas City, Inc. is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote products and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The role may require non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.

You will develop new business, penetrate accounts, and work toward sales and profit goals while embodying Sysco’s customer-first approach. A valid driving license and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience.
• Bi-Lingual is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and expand existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Manage deliveries and coordinate with transportation for routing.
