Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Foods Safety & QA Manager in Minnesota to lead and strengthen its safety, quality, and compliance programs. You’ll partner with production to drive continuous improvement and cultivate a culture of accountability.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership and hands-on execution in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in food safety and quality, with HACCP, SQF, and PCQI expertise and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Microbiology, Food Processing, or related field.
• 5+ years of food safety and quality assurance experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, SQF, PCQI, and food safety management systems.
• HACCP certification required.
• PCQI certification required.
• SQF Practitioner certification preferred.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, risk assessments, and CAPA activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage food safety and quality assurance programs to comply with regulations.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve HACCP, SQF, and related programs.
• Oversee the HACCP program including hazard identification, evaluation, and control.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
• Lead internal audits, inspections, and food safety assessments.
• Identify risks and ensure corrective and preventive actions are effective.
• Collaborate with production and operations to integrate standards.
• Provide training and guidance on regulatory requirements.
• Investigate customer complaints and root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation and records for audits, inspections, and actions.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and industry trends.
