Qualifications

• Degree in economics or commercial training with relevant further training.
• Initial experience in food or agricultural sector preferred.
• German at C1 and English at B2.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
• High reliability and loyalty; independent, goal-oriented work.
• Confident and assertive communicator.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the supply of high-quality food raw materials to manufacturing sites.
• Identify new sources of supply and select suppliers with R&D collaboration.
• Support supplier management and develop partnerships.
• Lead contract negotiations within the procurement process.
• Prepare tender comparisons and contracts; monitor procurement KPIs.
• Conduct supplier and trade fair visits and audits in Germany and abroad.
• Handle complaints processing.
• Identify procurement optimisation opportunities and implement measures with other departments.
• Engage in projects and develop into a strategic procurement role.
