Job summary

MemorialCare in Fountain Valley, CA seeks a Medical Assistant Front/Back Float Strategy & Initiative to support the Integration Team and training programs across sites. You will mentor front office duties, assist in patient care, and ensure compliance with the Medical Assistant Scope of Practice.

Candidates need 1 year ambulatory care experience, Epic proficiency, MA certificate, and BLS. Travel to sites is required; a $2,500 signing bonus may apply for external hires.

Qualifications

• One year medical office and clinical experience in an ambulatory care environment.
• Epic experience and knowledge.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Certificate from Accredited Medical Assistant Program required.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify training materials documents for Clinic FOA and Medical Assistants.
• Demonstrate proficiency of all duties within the Medical Assistant Scope of Practice.
• Implement orders and treatment plan components as directed by Provider(s).
• Be at work and be on time.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and directives.
• Travel to assigned sites as project needs.
